The Challenge & Our Approach
The Challenge
This client had been selling a car detailing brush set for six months but was stuck at 30–40 units per month with a bloated ACOS of 62%. The product had potential — boar-hair bristles for upholstery, vents, wheels, and emblems in one kit — but a generic listing was losing clicks to cheaper white-label competitors. They brought us in to diagnose why revenue had plateaued and build a path to consistent growth.
Our Approach
Performed a full listing audit: competitor analysis across 22 ASINs, keyword gap analysis, and conversion rate benchmarking against category norms (3.5% average; client was at 1.8%).
Completely restructured the title to lead with the professional use case and boar-hair bristle differentiator — the #1 search intent signal for premium detailing buyers.
Rebuilt PPC from scratch: paused all 47 underperforming keywords, restructured into tightly themed ad groups (interior cleaning, wheel cleaning, air vent detailing), and introduced product targeting against inferior competitor listings.
Designed a full A+ Content module set with a comparison chart positioning the 3-pack kit against single-brush purchases, lifestyle imagery showing professional detailers at work, and a brand story module built around quality craftsmanship.
Launched a Sponsored Brands video campaign featuring a 30-second product demonstration that drove a 2.4x improvement in click-through rate versus static image ads.
Implemented negative keyword harvesting weekly for the first 60 days, eliminating $1,100 in wasted spend on irrelevant traffic.
