The Challenge & Our Approach
The Challenge
LOVIXA had a genuinely strong product — a lightweight nylon hydration vest with 6 pockets, reflective detailing, and compatibility with water bottles. But their UK listing was underperforming badly: low click-through rates, high bounce, and PPC spend delivering a ROAS below 2x. The sports hydration category on Amazon UK is intensely competitive, with established brands like Nathan and CamelBak dominating page one. Our challenge was to carve out a defensible position for LOVIXA without a massive ad budget.
Our Approach
Conducted full competitor analysis across the top 30 ASINs in UK hydration vests, mapping keyword positions, review counts, pricing strategies, and listing structure weaknesses.
Identified a significant content gap: top competitors were not targeting 'running vest with water bottles' (a high-conversion phrase with 8,400 monthly searches on Amazon UK) as a primary title keyword — LOVIXA could own it.
Rebuilt the listing title and bullet points entirely around three core UK buyer intents: trail running, marathon training, and commuter cycling — expanding the addressable audience significantly.
Restructured PPC into UK-specific campaigns: Sponsored Products (exact + phrase), Sponsored Display (retargeting bounced product page visitors), and keyword conquesting against the two top competitor ASINs.
Created new infographic images for the UK market emphasising the 16"×39" vest dimensions, reflective strip safety detail (critical for the UK commuter/evening runner segment), and the phone pocket size (fits UK-sold iPhone and Samsung models).
Negotiated a competitive pricing position at £17.14 average order value, balancing margin with conversion rate in a price-sensitive UK market.

“The UK market is tough — we were going up against brands with 10,000 reviews. EcomStride found the gaps our competitors missed and repositioned our listing to exploit them. The results speak for themselves.”
